Community Bowl Make Day Downtown Farmer’s Market (Murray Court Square)

June 22 / 7am-Noon / $5person

Come down to the court square Murray Farmers Market anytime between 7 - Noon to make a bowl for the Empty Bowl project! MAG will have an outdoor tent (outside 403 Maple St. store) and an inside location as well. Recommended donation is $5/bowl to help cover the cost of clay.

Individual workshops for empty bowls for 2024 are FULL.

Murray Art Guild, in partnership with Need Line of Murray,  participate in the national Empty Bowls Project, designed to combat hunger.  The MAG, through generous donations of time and material, hosts and facilitates bowl making workshops throughout the spring and summer.  These handcrafted bowls are then given away with soup in NeedLine's annual fundraiser in the fall, usually in October, raising thousands of dollars.
